Alfredo Goldman is Associate Professor at the University of São Paulo (USP), Brazil. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Grenoble’s Polytechnic Institute in 1999, and his thesis addressed scheduling on Parallel Computing. He was the co-PC chair in 2014 of SBAC-PAD in Paris and IEEE NCA in Boston. He was the PC Chair for topic 6: Cluster and Cloud Computing on Euro-Par 2017.
His main research areas are in high-performance computing, parallel algorithms for distributed and heterogeneous systems, and scheduling algorithms.
