Amanda Calatrava received the BSc, MSc and PhD degrees in computer science from the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) in 2010, 2012 and 2016, respectively. She works for the GRyCAP in research tasks since 2011, when she joined the group under a collaboration grant while working on her master's thesis, framed in the Master in Parallel and Distributed Computing. She obtained the Master's Degree in February 2012, specialized in Grid and Cloud Computing. Her doctoral thesis was developed under a VALi+d predoctoral fellowship, in the field of Cloud Computing, whose main result was the Elastic Cloud Computiong Clusters (EC3) tool. In November 2016, she received the PhD degree (with cum laude mention). Since then, she has been working in different national and international research projects. She is author of several research articles published in indexed journals and international conferences. Currently her research interests are focused in Virtualization, Cloud Computing and Scientific Computing
