This 6th edition is dedicated to demonstrating how Cloud Computing is shaping the future of technology, together with other newsmaker ICT technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), Edge Computing, amongst others. The event will showcase, through demos, how the innovative technologies developed by ATMOSPHERE project increase cloud trustworthiness levels. Furthermore, the event will be the playground for other EU-BR initiatives SMEs that, together, have been developing and delivering ICT services with a positive impact in the transatlantic economy. Additionally, Cloudscape Brazil will also brainstorm about what are the priorities for the next IT policies, between Brazil and Europe, to turn these two regions into a frontrunner in ICT landscape across the globe.
Brazil is the leading economy in South America, representing the 8th largest economy in the world. The EU is its main trading partner and foreign direct investor. The relationship between Brazil and the EU on research and innovation led to four Joint Calls on ICT Research and Innovation. EU-BR cooperation in ICT is having a real impact and allowing a sustainable development on both regions’ economies & societies. By sharing the same vision, Brazil and EU are working together to achieve global goals and harmonize processes, technologies, industries and, ultimately, their societies. The Cloudscape Brazil Opening Session focuses on what will be the future of the EU-BR joint policy visiton in ICT, to increase the positive impact they can have in both regions’ societies and economies.
