Recognised as a developer of innovative, trustworthy cloud services, the ATMOSPHERE project will be presented during the upcoming EOSC-hub Week 2018 to be held in Malaga from 16-20 April 2018.

The week will revolve around two major events: the Public Days and an EOSC-hub "all hands" meeting open only to EOSC-hub partners.

ATMOSPHERE at the EOSC-hub Week

ATMOSPHERE will be taking part in the Public Days during the Cloud Lightning Talks session on 17 April 2018, from 16:00-17:30. The Public Days will be held at the Trade Fairs and Congress Center of Málaga.

ATMOSPHERE's Miguel Caballer will be presenting the project and its objectives and will explore potential new services for the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC). 

The Cloud Lightning Talks session aims to promote the different cloud service providers and new and innovative cloud-based services for the EOSC-hub communities and will be attended by cloud providers, service developers and members of the user communities interested in cloud-based services. This session will consist of lightning talks from providers and developers of new, cloud-based services.

The session will showcase success stories in supporting researchers from both EOSC-hub partners and from external contributors with cloud services. The session also provides opportunities to discuss how the new cloud services can become part of the EOSC-hub.

Action-Packed Days

The public day kicks off on the 16th with a keynote presentation by Augusto Burgueño Arjona, the European Commission's Head of the "eInfrastructure" Unit, Directorate General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology (DG CONNECT).

The programme comprises of four main tracks dedicated to users, service providers, policy and technology.

Day 2 is structured around more specific e-infrastructures workshops, such as Computing and Data Management over Clouds with Indigo-Datacloud products, Coupling Data & HPC with EUDAT & PRACE, National e-Infrastructures reports on status and plans of national facilities and research community engagement, etc.
